Abstract
Access to universities, questions of diversity, gender, and decolonization are not mere “aspects” which only affect certain groups. Rather, they define the academic collective as a whole. In this issue, the short contributions by Doris Arztmann and Elisabeth Magdlener represent the perspectives of dis/abilities, and not only for university work. Next, we document the “Codex for Good Work in Science,” passed in October 2017 by the membership assembly of the GfM, that is now circulating for discussion and implementation within media studies institutes.
